Spinach and goat cheese samoussas recipe

  •  8 sheets of brick (16 samoussas)
  •  250 g spinach (frozen for me)
  • goat cheese, log type 
  • 1 onion
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Olive oil 

Preparation of the dough

Start by draining the spinach in a colander (if frozen) to extract all the water.
Heat a frying pan with a little olive oil, add the chopped onion and fry until translucent.
Add the chopped garlic clove.
Add the spinach, salt and pepper lightly. Sauté for a few minutes until all the water has evaporated.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Cut slices of goat cheese.

Turn on the oven to 180°.

For the brick sheets, cut them in half. For the folding, look at the drawing or a tutorial on YouTube for example.

To make: Put some of your spinach filling and a piece of goat cheese in the samoussas.
Using a kitchen brush, lightly brush your samoussas with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes.
