If you have fresh shrimp, prepare and peel them or defrost them if they are frozen.
Peel and finely chop your garlic cloves, removing the germ.
Brown them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
Add your shrimp.
Add small pieces of finely chopped ginger (I used the equivalent of a 2 cm cube).
Add the juice of half a lime, some zest and a pinch of salt.
Mix everything together and let it cook for 10 minutes, adjusting the seasoning if necessary. I assembled my brochettes at the last minute.
You can also prepare them in advance by making a marinade with all the ingredients.
In this case, leave to marinate for at least 1 hour in a cool place, then assemble your brochettes and cook them, turning them halfway through cooking, for 5 minutes on each side.
If you like, add a dash of tabasco.
