Recipe: cereal bars

Cereal bars

Ingredients: for 10 bars

  • 250 grams of oatmeal (or wheat, cereal...)
  • 80 gr of seeds of your choice (flax, sunflower, pumpkin),
  • 4 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips
  • 150 grams of applesauce with no added sugar
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of honey

Preparation

Turn on your oven to 180° and let it preheat.

Mix the applesauce and the oatmeal, the seeds, then add the honey, which you have melted in a pan to the preparation.

Add the chocolate chips to the mixture.

In a square or rectangular silicone pan (like a brownie pan), pour the dough, packing it well with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 20 minutes.

A few minutes after removing from the oven, cut the dough into 10 evenly sized bars, but do not remove them from the mold yet.

When the mixture has cooled, take the bars out of the mould.

Store them in aluminum foil and in an airtight box

If you like fruit pieces (raspberries, raisins, etc.), you can add them at the same time as the seeds
